“ Interesting menu and very cool vibes/atmosphere, great for the gram (although it doesn't carry into the bathrooms which kind of feels like a supply closet with a toilet in them). Food is a bit pricey but I loved what I got (peanut curry stir fry and pandan horchata, my partner didn't like his as much, it was a bit lacking in a sauce, sort of dry rice noodles, but the meats were incredible). No more happy hour for those who read reviews about that! ”
“ How did I not know about this place before?! My friend and I ended up here late on a Sunday night when we were just trying to find someplace still open - and it was perfect! Super fun decor, excellent service despite being busy, the food was great, and even my drink (passion fruit coconut ginger ale) was amazing. This is going on my short list of fun and memorable places to eat in P-town! ”
“ Really really good! I enjoyed the shrimp rice bowl and crispy pork rolls. Both dishes had great flavor. The shrimp was cooked perfectly but for me my favorite is the coconut rice it came in the bowl. The rice took everything to the next level. My boyfriend LOVED the peanut chicken. Said it was the best he has ever tried. 10/10 would recommend & eat at again! Just a sidenote: you order at a counter and they bring out the food to you when it's ready. We were not aware of this on our first visit so just wanted to mention it to future guests. Didn't change our minds but if you're looking to have a server & xyz, this spot is a bit different. ”
“ A treat to the senses - this place is a delight for the eyes as much as it is for the palate. The place has its modern Southeast Asian vibes on point. As for the food, it has this weird ordering system where you pay first and the food goes to your seat, but it's alright. Didn't get to try the eponymous Luc Lac, but the Pho is phenomenal. Can recommend the Train Pho. It also has a bar with interesting cocktails, which I sadly didn't enjoy, but they look tempting. Maybe next time. All in all, great place for work lunch or a social evening. ”
“ Everything about this restaurant was excellent. The food was so delicious. And probably some of the fastest service I have ever had. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. This restaurant reminds me of the restaurants in NYC. They have sitting outside with heater, a takeout window or enjoy a nice meal inside. There is a small bar and lots of tables to enjoy some delicious good. This place is a definite place to eat when visiting Portland. The location is close to all the local hotels. ”
“ Unique restaurant. I got in line as the doors were opening- I was there at 4:00 on Saturday. Before heading there check hours. I ordered a chicken salad #allergygirl had the bell peppers left out and instead of a citrus based dressing #allergygirl I subbed for a soy sauce dressing (which may have been just soy sauce ). I didn’t see on the menu that a pile of basil would be on top I gathered it up and took it off. ”
“ We didn't expect this place to be that good but it was exceptionally delicious. Service was so good and also how to order was explained as soon as you walk in. Try it. ”
“ Taste : 4.5/5 Environment: 4.2/5 Service:4.2/5 Luc Lac Vietnamese Kitchen is like the Beyonce of pho places - everyone's trying to get in, and there's always a line! If patience isn't your virtue, grab some takeout and enjoy a meal al fresco under their quirky red lights, which may or may not make you feel like you're dining in a cozy submarine. Parking is a bit of an adventure, so consider it part of the experience. Trust me, once you taste that combo vermicelli bowl or hop on the pho train, you'll be singing "I will wait for you." ”
